Today I had a conversation with a friend about how the internet has done amazing things for non-profits and low and behold I received an email request tonight asking me to share about a new initiative by none other than my favorite online retailer, Amazon.
Ya’ll it is super cool. Now customers can donate a toy to Toys for Tots via Alexa!
All you have to say is, “Alexa, donate to Toys for Tots.”
And voila! She will read off a toy from their list “wish list” and send it straight to the organization. And if that’s not amazing enough for you, from now through the end of the year Amazon will be matching customer donations – toy for toy! Amazon is literally #deliveringsmiles
I already tried it and it’s wonderful. We donated a My Little Pony toy for $13. 🙂 I am so happy to see that Amazon is making it so easy spread a little cheer this holiday season.
