January Stitch Fix and a Gift Card Giveaway!

Hi Everyone! I can’t believe this is only my second post this year!! I have been seriously MIA. It’s all thanks to a slab leak and involuntary kitchen renovation that I will share soon. So not fun, but the silver lining is that I get a new kitchen!! Anyway, back to the purpose of this post! I received my January Stitch Fix and I can’t wait to share it with you!

Stitch Fix January Gift Card Giveaway

I did something different this month and I don’t believe I will repeat this again. I offered my stylist zero direction. To be honest I was too busy when I got the email that a fix was coming and I was curious to see what would happen. It actually turned out Ok, but I have been much happier with other fixes where I have at least provided minimal direction and I’m always super happy when I am more specific. I have to caution you though, don’t ask for VERY specific items. That’s hard for a stylist to accomplish and you are generally setting yourself up for disappointment. Here are the items I got and what I thought about them! Make sure to scroll to the bottom to enter to win a Stitch Fix gift card!!

Truett Pullover Sweater by Lemon Tart – $68

This is a beautiful sweater and I love the stripes on the arms. I just got a black and white striped shirt for Christmas though so I decided not to keep the sweater.

Hayley Bird Print Infinity Scarf by Octavia – $28

Love, love, love this scarf! I kept it and have already worn it numerous times!!

Lisbon Stud Detail Blouse by 41Hawthorn – $58

I really like this top and have a similar one in aqua but I decided not to keep it. Sorry about the wrinkles, it was jumbled in the closet and it was either photograph it wrinkled or not at all. Life is crazy around here right now!!

Kaesen Skinny Jean by Liverpool – $88

These fit like a glove. I have not received a pair of pants or jeans that I haven’t loved! But I have too many jeans right now so I passed on these.

Bret Raglan Knit Top by Papermoon – $48

This top was comfortable and understated, which I love for running errands and hanging out with the kids. Unfortunately it was priced a little high for what I would normally spend on comfy kids. If I’m going to pay $48, it needs to be a more versatile top.

It’s too bad it wasn’t cheaper though because it matched my Sperrys perfectly!! This would have been a perfect spring Saturday morning t-ball watching outfit!

Everything fit great and there wasn’t a top that I didn’t like. Had I not just spent a fortune on Christmas I might have kept the whole lot ($197.50 for five items). With the buy 5 discount I would have come close to getting the Bret Raglan Knit Top and Infinity Scarf for free!
