Smiling It Forward with Tylenol

I’m Smiling It Forward because sometimes we all need to focus on the wonderful things in our lives.

I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks.

These last few weeks have been CRAZY!! We have finally moved and I am able to sit down and get back to work! As I sat down to write this post about TYLENOL® and Smiling it Forward all I could think was that I haven’t had many reasons for smiling lately. I have been so stressed about moving and watching the kids in our un-baby proofed houses, and painting and cleaning the old house, and trying to sell old furniture and buy new furniture. Seriously, the list is insane!

But like most things in life this opportunity was perfectly timed.

Not only did it make me sit down and reflect on all the wonderful things in my life, like my two beautiful boys and amazing husband, and our new beautiful house that we are so excited about, but TYLENOL® also sent me a wonderful little gift box at the most crucial time!! We are living amongst a sea of boxes here and that means that I can’t find anything! Today I had to resort to wearing a belt from one of my jackets to hold up a pair of jeans because I have no idea which box has all my belts in it! But anyway, back to TYLENOL®!

So the other day after opening my awesome little gift from TYLENOL®, Bryce woke up in the middle of the night screaming his little/big bald head off and I could tell immediately that it was his molars coming in. Not cool. Of course my immediate thought was “Oh no, where on earth is the medicine packed!?!?” Well low and behold, I had the gift package from TYLENOL® downstairs on the kitchen counter with a little bottle of Infant’s TYLENOL® in it! Don’t you just love it when something like that happens?? I ran downstairs ripped open the package and gave Bryce a dose immediately. Within 10 minutes he was sound asleep in my arms and I had the biggest smile on my face!!! Nothing makes me smile like a sleeping baby. And y’all this mama needs sleep so badly these days!!

Now! Here’s The Most Important Part!!!!!!

TYLENOL® is inviting moms across the country to join together in Smiling It Forward™. Now we all know how I just LOVE to share photos of my boys. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook (and you should *wink, wink*) then you are bombarded on a daily basis with adorable and sometimes embarrassing pictures of my children. And I know y’all are just as bad as me because I follow you too! 🙂 Well, TYLENOL® decided to make it possible for us moms to share all these wonderful pictures for a good cause! So from now until mid-January we can help by sharing our own smiles at Smiling It Forward, and for every smile uploaded TYLENOL® will donate $1 to Children’s Health Fund, up to $100,000.*

Smiling It Forward

This is the photo that I shared. Noah and Bryce and I were at the Zoo and had stopped for lunch at one of the cafes. Noah was walking past Bryce and just wrapped his arms around him and gave him a big squeeze. I’m telling you my heart just melted into a puddle right there on the floor. I, of course, made him go back and do it again so I could take a picture. Now, even though this picture is posed, it reminds me of that sweet moment and I get the biggest grin on my face!

So go on, scoot, head on over there right now and upload your smile and help a child out! And make sure to share it to your Facebook page so we can all see it and others can learn how to SMILE IT FORWARD™ too!

*Between September 17, 2013 and January 31, 2014, McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®, is inviting anyone 18 and older to share a photo that makes them smile on SmilingItForward.com.  Each photo approved & shared will trigger a $1.00 donation from TYLENOL® to Children’s Health Fund, with a minimum donation of $75,000 and a maximum donation of $100,000.
