The other day I decided that I needed a new headshot for my blog. I messaged my favorite photographer, Inga Finch, and set up a date to take some photos. Inga has been photographing our family since Eric and I first met. She has taken our engagement, wedding, maternity, and Noah’s newborn photos! She even moved up to Atlanta around the same time we did so we have been able to stay in touch. We love her!!
I follow her on Instagram and Facebook, so when I noticed a photo she posted from The Goat Farm Arts Center I knew exactly where I wanted my photos taken!
I also made sure to order a Stitch Fix to arrive in time for the photos. I make sure to leave very detailed notes for my stylist and try to make my fix request unique. Here was my note.
I will be having a photo shoot for my blog with this fix and since I am a stitch fix affiliate these outfits will all end up in a post talking about ya’ll! I definitely would like to get three full outfits. Top and Pants, Top and Skirt (maybe?) and a dress. That way I can have some versatility. Also, when photographed, I feel wide and don’t like my arms.
One of my favorite things about Stitch Fix is how they pair items in your fix to patch items you have kept previously. This fix had an adorable geometric skirt that I can pair with a blue top I kept from a previous fix.
In the end I kept everything from this fix. It all fit perfectly!!
The sweater is so cozy and I love it!! I wear it all the time. I recently paired it with jeans and a gray top from a previous fix for trick or treating!
This was one of my favorite head shots. The colors from my Skies Are Blue top contrasts perfectly with the window sill and I even found the perfect nail polish to match! 🙂
You might have noticed this one. It is now my profile pic for all my social media accounts and here on the blog. It was by far my favorite! It’s also on my business cards!
I love, love, love this one! The wall behind me is beyond cool and my Kate Spade notebook is what I use to write down blog ideas and inspiration. The quote pretty much sums up who I want to be!
This was fun! I couldn’t miss the opportunity to climb up on some of the old equipment that was scattered across The Goat Farm. Because, you know I always lay on rusty machines to write my latest post. My mother commented that it looks like it’s about to cut me in half! LOL

This is another Skies Are Blue henley blouse from the Stitch Fix I received earlier in the summer. It rocks with jeans and boots for fall but looked amazing with white skinny jeans and nude flats in the spring and summer. 🙂
Another awesome spot! Nothing like relaxing on a rusty barrel waiting for inspiration to hit! The building behind was so awesome! It was huge and full of vines and trees. We especially loved the graffiti on the right. Agh! pretty much sums up my day to day life with two small children. 🙂
Last but not least, another one of my favorites. The wind was definitely my friend that day and I feel like this photo looks most like me.
As always I had a blast shooting with Inga! We are in desperate need of a family photo so I think we will be scheduling one in the spring. I have always wanted a family photo in a pecan grove so I think we will give that a try!
