The ingredients and chemicals contained in baby products can make your head spin. When Noah was a baby we spent as much time as possible in cloth diapers after I learned what was in diapers! The chaos that arrived at the same time as Bryce prevented me from cloth diapering him as well and it’s definitely bothered me, but my sanity was way more important. WaterWipes is a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. They are now available at top Babies R’ Us stores across the country.
We headed up to our local store and managed to find them without too much trouble. First we looked in the diaper and wipes section but they weren’t there. Turns out our store had a eco-friendly section and there they were!
As you can tell Bryce was very excited! 🙂
Please excuse my toddler sitting in the cart in a most un-safe way. Mom of the year here!! He didn’t take long to give me the opportunity to test these wipes out. Fun. I can tell you that they work great! Apparently you don’t need all that junk in your wipes for them to work. It’s definitely a no-brainer. Why on earth would we want to use wipes with chemicals when there is a safer option that costs the same!
A couple things to remember is that since there are no preservatives a pack will last about a month once it’s opened. We use our wipes for everything from sticky fingers to stinky bottoms so I don’t see this as being a problem.
