This past weekend I was invited to check out the Grand Opening of Famous Footwear at the Town Center at Cobb Mall in Kennesaw. We were out running errands so Eric dropped off Noah and I at the mall while he and Bryce ran to Home Depot. Just your regular Saturday in the Kistler household. 🙂
The store was buzzing and a local radio stations was there raffling off Braves tickets! The store was also giving away a free pair of shoes every hour and they will be hosting Free Shoe Saturdays, every Saturday from noon till 5pm thru May 16th! It was about 10 till, so we decided to hang around and see if we won. While perusing all of their name brand shoes I fell in LOVE with these Sperrys. Seriously, love them!
And Noah fell in love with these. 🙂
But the best luck of all was when I found the “old” version of the Laguna Grey Sperrys on the clearance rack! For $30!! And of course I took them home with me. If you look at the bottom of the flier below they were handing out $10 coupons so they only cost $20!! You really can’t beat that!

The good news is that there is another Famous Footwear opening in the Atlanta area! With more chances to win free shoes! The Alpharetta location will open April 8th and will host eight Free Shoe Saturdays beginning April 18 thru June 6th. It is located in the North Point Mall at 1000 North Point Circle. They will be celebrating their grand opening event on April 18 from noon to 5 p.m. with drawings every hour and appearance from popular local radio station, WSB-FM 98.5, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
