Yup, that’s right, I am now in my 30’s. I spent a wonderful long weekend down in Tampa with some friends and even caught a pre-season football game. Jaguars won!! Woo Hoo!!
Eric was able to get us and a couple of friends pre-game field passes. It was pretty amazing standing 10 feet from the players watching them run drills. These guys are huge and apparently have funny hairdo’s under their helmets!!
I was definitely nervous a few times though! They kept gunning these passes right at us, and the players were running routes and catching them. I know they get paid a lot of money not to miss those, but if they had Noah and I would not have faired well. I kept making Eric stand in front of me. 🙂
On Sunday Eric, Catherine, and Ben surprised me with a birthday party! I was able to see most of my friends in Tampa and drink all the O’Douls I wanted. 🙂 And they got me the most delicious cake ever from the best bakery in Tampa, Alessi’s!!! I love their cakes and apparently so did Noah. He kept having sugar rushes every minute or so. It was pretty funny!
On Monday we stopped by my old office and said hi to everyone and then hit the road back to Jacksonville. I knitted in the car the whole way back and then Eric went to Publix and got me a sub and potato chips and a lemon meringue pie, cause that’s what I wanted for my birthday dinner. LOL!
Now Eric already deserves husband of the year, but he might win husband of the millinium after giving me my birthday present!! I get to go on Saturday to the Ocean One Resort and Spa in Atlantic Beach and have a spa day!! I can’t wait, I have a prenatal massage, oxygen facial, and beachcomber pedicure scheduled with a light spa lunch. I also added on a waxing (don’t worry he didn’t schedule that, LOL, or he would be revoked of all awards) hopefully it won’t be too incredibly painful……
Well, that was my birthday! It was wonderful and thank you to everyone who helped make it so special. It’s pretty crazy to think that in 30 more years Noah will be turning 30, but let’s back up and take all this one step at a time. 🙂
