I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite recipes I have found in my great-grandmother’s recipe box and a giveaway for a $50 Amazon Gift Card. My mother gave these recipes to me about a year ago and I have had so much fun going through them! Although, I have to say that I was slightly disturbed by the four (yes FOUR!) Better Than Sex cake recipes. LOL
And of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pull out some chalk paint and give it a little facelift either. 🙂
This is a super easy texas-style BBQ sauce recipe that goes great over some crispy chicken thighs. I seared these in a frying pan and then placed them in a pan and poured the sauce over them to bake in the oven.
So. Freaking. Delicious
I’m such a messy cook, I know. 🙂 Here is the recipe and don’t forget to enter to win the gift card below!
- 1 14oz Bottle of Ketchup
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Mustard
- 1/4 cup Canola oil
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Pepper
- 3 tbsp Cider Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Hot Sauce
- Combine all ingredients.
- You can either brush on chicken on the grill or pour over chicken and bake uncovered at 350 degrees until the chicken is cooked through.
