Monster Garden Rocks and a Scotts Groables Update

This post brought to you by Gro-ables. All opinions are 100% mine.

When we moved into our home last fall there was existing herb and tomato garden right off the back patio. Unfortunately it didn't survive the two snow storms. It's a long rectangle that is surrounded by large smooth stones on three sides. Almost immediately we started finding these stones scattered around the yard. Noah was unable to resist picking them up and transporting them through out the yard. I was mostly worried that Eric would run over one with the lawn mower, so in order to stop the constant rock rearranging I had Noah pick out three stones and we painted them! He is allowed to move them all around the yard, but only these three. Worked out perfectly!

Then when it came time to plant our new Gro-ables seed pods we decided to use the monster rocks as markers. Noah grabbed his Disney Planes gardening set his Ranny gave him and we dug three holes in the garden. In dropped the pods and we filled in around them with the soil.

Easy peasy!! Literally so easy a 3 year old can do it!

You wouldn't believe the variety of plants you can grow! Check out a list of seed pods available from Groables on the Sprout it website and app. And if you are looking for herbal inspiration the Sprout It Inspiration Gardens are a must see!

As soon as these guys start sprouting I can't wait to make some of that awesome Guacamole recipe I shared previously. Yum!!!
