My New Craft/Sewing/Office Room!! And My First #Giveaway !!!

I am super excited about this post!

I have been working hard to get my new “office” organized so I could share pictures with everyone. It has been quite a feat. When we found our house I was ecstatic about the finished room in the basement. Eric has always wanted his own room to keep his man stuff in, but he said since this room was already painted purple that I could have it! Yeah!! I was already happy to give it to him, but there is a more “rustic” unfinished room connect to mine that he is going to fix up for himself. What a gentleman!

My room has been at the bottom of the priority list since moving in and actually became a dumping ground of stuff that I didn’t know where to put. So it has taken some serious time just to make it functional and it’s going to take a little more money to get it organized exactly how I want it. Not to mention decorating, I am definitely in need of some curtains and things to put on the walls! But regardless I can’t wait any longer to share it with the world.

I actually have a door and window so it's not a complete dungeon and my great grandmothers chair in case I ever have any visitors. I have yet to convince Eric to hang out with me down here.....
My Sewing Desk! It was our regular desk in our old apartment before we upgraded to the big one.
All those pink bins in the corner are full of fabric, and the white bins and the box are full of yarn!
My Craft Table, still the biggest mess left....

My desk, where I hope to get some real writing done. I am mostly limited to Eric's iPad, if he lets me use it, with Noah constantly trying to take it from me. Not conducive to creative exploration.....

In cleaning and organizing, I use these two terms very loosely, I discovered that I have an enormous stock of bibs and burp cloths. You may remember back in the fall that my sister and I began sewing baby items, mainly bibs and burp cloths to sell at craft shows and festivals. We had a great time working the festivals and it’s definitely something that I want to do in the future, but with the move and the pregnancy I knew that this spring it was not going to happen, that also means that the next round of festivals will be in the fall. You ,right when my little baby boy is due, oh and the beginning of football season (Eric works for the Falcons). Since I am not a glutton for punishment and I don’t want my husband to divorce me, I have decided to postpone my selling for a whole year!! In the meantime I am still sewing custom orders for baby shower gifts etc, I mean hey! I need some kind of creative outlet, but no more bulk stuff. Also I am still working at getting all of this inventory up on Etsy, but I thought for now you guys could help take a few of these off my hands!

Soooooooooo, I am very happy to announce my first giveaway!

I am going to give 2 gift sets (1 bib and 3 coordinating burp cloths) to 2 lucky readers!! Yeah!!!!
